Olympic Speed Skater Banned For 4 Years
U.S. Olympic silver medalist Chris Creveling has accepted a 4 year sanction for a doping violation after testing positive for clomiphene.
The United States Anti Doing Agency (USADA) announced the athlete had tested positive for the prohibited substance as a result of an out-of-competition urine sample he provided on October 18, 2016.
The short track speed skater was part of the U.S. team that claimed silver in the 5,000-metre relay at Sochi in 2014.His four-year period of ineligibility began on November 18, 2016, the date he accepted a provisional suspension.
