Seminar: Protecting Your Brand
Sport Resolutions will be holding its first seminar of 2017, centred around the topic of protecting your brand when it comes under threat from the media. The seminar will be taking place on Thursday the 6th of April 2017 at our office, 1 Salisbury Square in London.
Sport Resolutions, together with Jonathan Coad of Keystone Law presents a practical seminar on how to protect your brand, the ability to earn a living and have privacy respected in the face of ever more intrusive interest from the media. The session will look at the various regulatory and legal protections available to both individuals and organisations in the sport sector, which is such a favourite for the media.
The session will be practical and interactive with ample opportunity throughout to ask questions and discuss scenarios, real or hypothetical. The session will cover:
• Strategies to minimise the risk of intrusive media coverage invading privacy and confidentiality;
• Strategies to prevent the publication/broadcast of damaging material; or at the very least ensure that the resulting damage is kept to a minimum;
• Identifying the various means whereby brand damage caused by the media can be repaired post publication/broadcast.
