Partners
Sport Resolutions (UK) works in partnership with all key stakeholders in sport. The organisations that created Sport Resolutions (UK) and current members of the company represent a broad cross section of stakeholders including athletes, governing bodies, and sponsors.
The current members of the company are:
- The British Athletes Commission
- The British Olympic Association
- The British Paralympic Association
- The Sport and Recreation Alliance
- The Professional Players Federation
- The European Sponsorship Association
- The Northern Ireland Sports Forum
- The Scottish Sports Association
- The Welsh Sports Association
The membership of the company is kept under review to ensure that Sport Resolutions (UK) remains broadly representative of the various groupings within sport while retaining its independence.
UK Sport provides grant funding to help meet the Secretariat’s core operating costs. While remaining fully independent, Sport Resolutions (UK) works closely with the Sports Councils to deliver an effective framework for dispute resolution that supports the good governance of sport.
Sport Resolutions maintains close links with other dispute resolution organisations including the Court of Arbitration for Sport, based in Lausanne, which deals with sports disputes at the international level and National Sports Dispute organisations in Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.
